Learn
to dive in small groups with our friendly instructors in the amazing waters of the Mediterranean. On succesful completion of this course, you will be awarded the PADI Open Water
Diver certification. (If you are under 15 you can complete the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course.)
This worldwide recognised certification, local laws permitting, entitles you to hire equipment, obtain tank refills and dive to a depth of 18 metres with a buddy of equal or higher qualification, without the
supervision of a PADI Dive Professional.
If
you have already completed parts of your course in another location, within the last 12 months, you can
finish your training and certification here. Please ensure that you bring evidence of all training that you have completed, signed by an active PADI Dive Professional, along with their contact details. You will be charged at a daily rate for the completion of the course.
These
courses usually take three days, and comprise 5 knowledge development sessions, 5 confined (shallow) water dives and 4 open water dives. You will need to own and read a copy of the training manual that accompanies this course. It is required that you read the first 2 chapters before starting your course. We can sell you the manual in resort or you can bring it with you.
This internationally recognised qualification is valid for life and allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres accompanied by a buddy of equal or higher qualification. For Junior Open Water Diver the maximum depth is 12 metres.
